General Meeting Minutes
6:30 pm - 7:30 pm.
Call to order: General meeting was called to order at 6:30 by Sara Schlundt, PTA VP on February 11th, 2008. Location, Whitney library.
Approval of Minutes: Minutes from January 7th , 2008 meeting were provided to all attending. The minutes were submitted and approved with no additions or deletions.
Agenda: Submitted and approved with no additions or deletions.
Treasureer's report: Tammy Bartley gave the treasurer's report. Copies of the report were made available to all attendee's. The report was reviewed and filed for audit with no corrections.
Fundraising:
- Family fun night: Will be combining plate fundraiser with reading month. Dianna will be heading it up. The date has been changed to Wednesday March 26th.
- T-shirts order will be complete at the end of the week.
- Box tops has raised $132. Ice cream has been distributed for the contest.
- Escrip- We are now correctly registered with Safeway
- Walk-a-Thon- Picked a date of May 21st 2008. Tammy Bartley will see about getting road closed.
Our Town our Park- Will donate $100. Picket will say "The Whitney School".
Art Depot Art Show- Patricia Wills, Tammy Bartley, Sara Schlundt, and Christy McClellan volunteered to bring cookies.
RIF Day- Went well. Had plenty of volunteers. Could have used younger aged books.
Yearbook- Wendelin will be going around the last week of February and getting teachers pictures instead of having them submit them to her.
Wish List- All the wish lists have been received. (added Speech and OT) Tammy Bartley and Sara Schlundt will get together to purchase the items and distribute them by the next PTA meeting in March.
